Caution--Contents Will Break Under Pressure

Sorry it has taken us so long to make a blog entry.  We have had exciting things to write about The most exciting is I broke my collarbone.  You would be surprised how much we use that bone. So I have been in a sling for the past week and still have another two weeks to go.  I broke it at a water park here in Utah.  Apparently when you fall off your tube in an enclosed slide you are not supposed to hit the wall at high speeds -- go figure.  So I have been out of commission and been feeling especially worthless, but Lauren has been so helpful and supportive.

I also got a MacBook.  This is the best decision I have made since I married Lauren.  I even made a movie to put on YouTube from our wedding that I'm quite proud of, the web address can be found below.  If you do watch it I only ask that you give us compliments, I don't deal with criticism too well.

Lauren has been studying away.  She is taking her 3rd CPA exam in a couple weeks.  Outside of that she has been helping her vegetable husband. She helps me get dressed, get cleaned and about everything else. What a girl!

Lauren's mom and step-dad are coming here this week and so are my parents.  It will be awesome to see them both and we promise to take lots a pictures.

Good News...

A lot has happened since our last post. But we will try to hit the highlights. I got accepted into the accounting program at BYU. It will be a lot of work, but it is nice to know that it is offical. I will start in the fall, so for the next couple of years my life has gotten a lot busier. Lauren also just found out she passed the second part of her CPA exam! Thank you all for your support and help. Lauren was so excited and she has a renewed dedication to studying.

Lauren's grandparents from Washington also stopped by Provo and we were able to go to breakfast with them. It was great to see them, they are such great people.

Family -- Isn't it about...Time

I got to see my brother this weekend. Joe -- that is his name -- just got back from his LDS mission in San Diego, CA. He spent a few days at home and came to Utah to spend a day with us before we took him to Idaho for school. It was really good to see him, it's always crazy to think how fast two years go by. We went shopping, watched Arrested Development, and hiked a mountain. We were successful in all endeavors except for the mountain part, it was a little longer and steeper than we anticipated. Me and Lauren will go back and when we conquer Everest Jr. we will make sure you all know.

We then drove him up to Rexburg, ID to go to school. It's a small little town, but my little sister and brother like it. The drive started out a disaster as our air conditioning did not work for the first hour or so. Unfortunately I have to report there was a quite a bit of complaining. I just don't do well when I'm super hot. But then the heavens smiled on us and it randomly started working. I don't know how it started working, but I was suddenly in a more pleasant mood.

We then dropped him off with my little sister Tiffany and then began the trek back home. We made it home exhausted, but at least we slept well.
